HOWO NX Concrete Mixer Truck is based on the HOWO NX chassis and is a special vehicle designed for concrete transportation and mixing in construction, road, bridge, and other engineering projects. The vehicle consists of two major parts: the HOWO NX chassis and the superstructure, which can be further divided into eight systems: chassis system, hydraulic system, mixing drum, discharge system, cleaning system, control system, roller system, and filling system.

Main Functions of Each System of the HOWO Mixer Truck
1. Chassis System: Forms the foundation of the vehicle and is responsible for transporting the concrete.
2. Hydraulic System: Takes power from the engine, converts it into hydraulic energy, and then outputs mechanical energy via a hydraulic motor to drive the mixing drum.
3. Mixing Drum: Serves as the concrete storage container, with internal blades that mix and guide the material, which is crucial for preventing concrete solidification and segregation.
4. Discharge System: Includes the main and auxiliary discharge chutes and locking rods. The auxiliary chute extends the length of the main chute for easier unloading.
5. Cleaning System: Uses pneumatic water supply. Pressurized water from the pressure tank, gun, and hoses cleans the charging hopper, mixing drum, and discharge chute to prevent concrete from hardening and sticking.
6. Control System: Composed of a controller, linkage shafts, flexible shafts, and linkage mechanisms. It is used to control the mixing drum's rotation speed and direction.
7. Roller System: Located at the rear of the mixing drum and connected to the sub-frame, it mainly supports the drum.
8. Filling System: Consists of the charging hopper and its support bracket. The bracket helps reduce the impact force of the concrete during loading.
Working Principle of the HOWO NX Transit Mixer Truck
● Mixing Function: During driving, the PTO transfers engine power through the hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor, and reducer to the mixing drum, keeping it rotating at a low speed of 1–3 rpm to ensure concrete homogeneity and prevent segregation.
● Filling Function: When loading, the mixing drum rotates at a higher speed of 6–10 rpm. Concrete enters the drum through the charging system and is guided by the spiral blades toward the middle and lower part of the drum.
● Discharging Function: During discharge, the drum rotates in reverse at 3–14 rpm. The concrete is pushed toward the drum opening by the spiral action of the blades and is discharged through the discharge chute.
● Cleaning Function: The air reservoir from the brake system pressurizes the water tank. The pressurized water is then used to clean the interior of the mixing drum, the loading port, and the discharge system.
