This HOWO M7 10‑ton freezer van is fitted with a self‑contained refrigeration unit, which operates independently of the truck’s main engine. The unit runs on a closed refrigerant circulation loop. Its built‑in auxiliary diesel engine drives the compressor, compressing low‑pressure, low‑temperature refrigerant gas into high‑pressure, high‑temperature gas. The hot gas flows to the condenser to dissipate heat out of the cargo box. After passing through the filter‑drier and expansion valve, the refrigerant enters the evaporator inside the van, where it absorbs heat and rapidly lowers the box temperature. The vaporized refrigerant then returns to the compressor to start the next cooling cycle.
Beyond basic cooling performance, this self‑powered system delivers continuous temperature control, fast cool‑down and reliable heat preservation. It keeps frozen food, fresh produce, pharmaceuticals and other temperature‑sensitive cargo at ideal conditions throughout the whole transit, no matter how complex the transport conditions are.
